Sysco is seeking a Line Lead to support the Team Lead by providing hands-on leadership and operational support to packing associates. This role ensures lines run efficiently, safely, and in a clean, organized environment, while proactively identifying problems and suggesting improvements to the Team Leader.

The position requires 1-2 years in production/packing, leadership or team support experience in a food production setting, and a high school diploma or GED.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; some leadership training preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a production or packing environment; leadership or team support in food production setting preferred.
• Basic food safety or OSHA certification preferred.

The Line Lead is responsible for supporting the Team Lead by providing hands‑on leadership and operational support to packing associates. This role ensures that designated lines run efficiently and safely while maintaining cleanliness and organization. The Line Lead is expected to proactively identify problems and suggest performance improvements to the Team Leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Team Lead in managing daily activities on assigned lines

• Monitor line performance and suggest improvements

• Communicate any issues or concerns to the Team Lead

• Assist in training and onboarding new associates

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent; Some college coursework or leadership training

Experience

1-2 years of experience in a production or packing environment

Experience in a leadership or team support role in a food production setting

Basic food safety or OSHA certification preferred

Skills

• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures

• Capable of multitasking in a fast paced environment

• English required; bilingual preferred
