Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• 12 months tractor-trailer driving experience or graduation from a state-certified truck driving program.
• Valid Class A CDL with double/triple trailers, tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• Ability to read, write, speak English and perform basic math for receipts and logs.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance.
• Must pass medical, drug and alcohol tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely within DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and hazmat transport.
• Meet or exceed DOT medical standards and pass drug and alcohol tests.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure loads are secure and properly distributed.
• Use tablets/phones to record deliveries and begin navigation.
• Unsecure freight for delivery and unload with a hand truck at drop-off locations.
• Be available for around-the-clock shifts and able to be away from home for extended periods.
