Job summary

mcm is hiring a Cook (Line and Grill) at Houghton University in Houghton, NY. You will prepare and present meals, following our Executive Chef menus, in a fast-paced campus kitchen and café environment.

The role requires experience in a commercial kitchen; Serve-Safe certification is a plus. Daily duties include inventory, portioning, and collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality service while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen is required.
• Serve‑Safe Certification is a plus.
• Background checks and drug screening are required during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present meals and impressive presentations following Executive Chef menus.
• Inventory and portion ingredients; assist in kitchen operations including prep, dish room, dry stock and perishable food inventories, and sanitation.
• Collaborate with team members in a busy commercial kitchen and café operations setting.
