Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Line Equipment Operator for a 1st shift position within a manufacturing environment. You will help set up and operate packaging lines, monitor weights and measures, and ensure compliance with production standards.

Ideal candidates can read BOMs and work instructions, lift up to 75 lbs, perform basic cycle counts, and report daily production activity to supervision while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read Bills of Material, processing/work instructions and packaging instructions.
• Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be able to do cycle counts of materials (labels, boxes, cartons, etc).
• Must be able to report production output and activities to management.
• Must be able to read and write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate weights and measures.
• Maintains compliance with packaging instructions and criteria.
• Regulates equipment settings for packaging instruction compliance.
• Assists the Crew Leader or Supervisor in completing daily production reports.
• Keeps work area neat and orderly.
