Magnolia Foods, Llc. in Mira Loma, California is seeking a Night Shift Line Coordinator to organize and direct personnel on production lines, operate machinery, review work orders, and ensure materials are available.

The role schedules equipment changeovers, performs line clearances, audits orders, and provides training and troubleshooting to Packaging team. You will collaborate with management, maintenance, and peers; ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, FDA, and SQF; follow safety protocols; and

Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with Plant, State, and Federal regulations (OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, SQF).
  • Inspect product quality, avoiding damaged or defective materials.
  • Package finished product to meet quality standards and customer specs.
  • Verify code dates for accuracy, visibility and legibility.
  • Ensure correct case counts and pallet configurations.
  • Follow all quality assurance, food safety, and SQF procedures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including PPE.
  • Maintain compliance with the company’s quality system and food safety requirements.
  • Perform line clearances and assist with equipment changeovers.
  • Audit completed orders for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide support and training to Packaging team members, including troubleshooting.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties in the line and clean up after shift.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Salary Range: $19.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Summary of Functions

The coordinator is responsible for organizing and directing personnel on production lines, operating machinery, reviewing work orders, and ensuring all required materials and supplies are available. This role schedules equipment changeovers, performs line clearances, audits completed orders, and supports Packaging team members through training and troubleshooting. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with management, maintenance, and peers.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

The following duties represent key responsibilities for this position. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to support departmental and business needs.

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.

Ensure compliance with all Plant, State, and Federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF.

Monday-Friday:10:00pm-6:00am

Compensation

Pay Range:$19.00 – $22.00 per hour

Compensation depends on experience and expertise (DOE).

Organizational Relationships

This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor.

This role has no direct reports.

In the absence of the Line Coordinator, the Production Supervisor will designate a substitute.
