Tatte Bakery & Cafe in Ridgewood, NJ, is hiring Line Cooks to join a fast-paced kitchen that values teamwork, attention to detail, and high-quality food. You will work under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to prepare dishes to our recipes and standards.

Responsibilities include portioning ingredients, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout shifts. Flexibility for weekends and evenings is required.

• Execute techniques under the direction of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.
• Set up and break down workstations and prepare for upcoming shifts.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen surfaces, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Assist chefs in preparing food and supporting additional culinary tasks as needed.

Summary Of Line Cooks' Primary Responsibilities
