Summary of Line Cook Position:

With this position, you must be able toaccurately and efficiently cookand preparemeats, fish,vegetables, soups, and other hot food products, as well as prepare and portion foodproductsprior to cooking.Put your plating skills to use tohelpcraft-fullyplateand garnish cooked items, as needed.Assuming 100% responsibility for quality and presentation, increase your customer satisfaction skills byassistingin the creation ofspecialsand unique dishes, sure to impress. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Understanding operations and proper usage ofbroilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment according to standardized recipes.
• Takingfull responsibility for the quality and presentation of products served.
• Followingstandardportionsizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures with consistency.
• Stockingandmaintaininganadequate level of food at line stations to ensure smooth service periods
• Assistwithportionandpreparation of fooditemsin accordance withrecipesand guidelines. Could include, but not limited to broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods.
• Consistency inmaintaininga clean, sanitary, and organized workstation including all cooking and refrigeration equipment.
• Ensure proper plate presentation and garnish for all dishes.
