Trapper's Sushi is looking to grow our team by adding a new Line Cook! As one of the Pacific Northwest's most desired dining establishments, our mission is to learn our customers' names, provide the best service and food, and leave customers craving more!

Responsibilities
  1. Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
  2. Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, cutting fish, and preparing sauces.
  3. Cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff.
  4. Fry cooked rolls to order as directed by Sushi Chefs.
  5. Follow Master Chef's instructions.
  6. Clean station and manage leftover food.
  7. Stock inventory appropriately.
  8. Comply with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards.
  9. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
  10. Complete opening and closing duties safely and efficiently.
  11. Uphold all TRAPCHK core values.
Qualifications
  1. Proven cooking experience, including as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
  2. Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  3. Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.
  4. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  5. Patience and positivity under pressure.
  6. High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school diploma is a plus.
  7. Washington State Food Worker Card (required before first day).
Physical Demands
  • Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, reach, lift, twist, and crouch as needed during shifts.
