Pay : $18 - $22 / hour

Job Description : As a Line Cook at The Reef, you'll be an integral part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing high-quality dishes with precision and consistency. Your role will involve executing recipes, maintaining kitchen standards, and contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with company standards
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet established guidelines
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to manage inventory and maintain stock levels
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and work cohesively with colleagues
  • Adhere to safety and health regulations at all times

Requirements :

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a high-volume banquet or event setting.
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented setting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one

Physical Demands :

  • Strength demands : Medium work. Includes exerting 10-45 pounds.
  • Walking and standing during a 6-8 hour shift.
