Join to apply for the Line Cook - The Alston role at The Fifty/50.

We are seeking experienced Line Cooks at The Alston to join our growing team. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare meals according to standardized recipes, ensuring high quality and timely service in a fast-paced environment. You will set up your station, stock inventory, and maintain sanitation standards. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, contributing to guest satisfaction and restaurant growth.

Essential Functions:
  1. Set up and stock stations with all necessary mise en place.
  2. Answer, report, and follow instructions from the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen managers.
  3. Prepare food for service.
  4. Cook menu items in compliance with the kitchen team.
  5. Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers.
  6. Ensure food quality and timely delivery.
  7. Comply with nutrition and allergy regulations and standards.
  8. Assist with pizza dough preparation and other prep tasks as needed.
  9. Pass a Food Handlers Certificate within two weeks of hire.
Other Functions:
  1. Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operation, as directed by management.
  2. Follow health and food safety standards, restock items, and maintain sanitation.
Physical Functions:
  1. Stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours.
  2. Exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours.
  3. Lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
  4. Reach, bend, stoop, carry, climb stairs, manipulate objects, and input data.
  5. Return unused items to inventory after service.
  6. Work in warm and cool environments.
  7. Tolerate potential allergens such as peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish.
