Line Cook - Tail of The Pup - Topanga Social

Position: Line Cook

Located in the new expansion of Westfield Topanga, Topanga Social offers a vibrant space for dining, socializing, and shopping. It features over 50,000 square feet with diverse food outlets, including celebrity chef-run restaurants and casual eateries.

The Line Cook prepares food to ensure it meets quality standards, follows recipes, and maintains safety and cleanliness standards. Reports to Lead Line Cooks, Culinary Supervisors, Sous Chefs, and the Executive Chef.

Essential Functions

• Prepare high-quality food according to recipes and standards.
• Serve meals ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in production planning and record keeping.
• Report maintenance needs and safety issues.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain professional relationships.

Qualifications

Ability to work under pressure, develop long-term vision, manage resources, solve problems, and lead effectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
