Position Overview

Responsible for properly preparing and cooking all food items in a safe, timely, organized manner, maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Produce dishes from standardized recipes.
• Prepare, portion, and cook food according to specifications.
• Prepare stations for anticipated business levels and assist team members as needed.
• Meet ticket time requirements consistently.
• Perform daily cleaning following sanitation guidelines efficiently.
• Handle high-volume cooking and plating while maintaining quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure high-quality, timely, and sanitary food preparation.
• Follow all procedures under culinary management supervision.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through communication and coordination.
• Interact with guests occasionally.
• Adhere to appearance standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work in smoke-filled environments.

• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Handle food, objects, and utensils properly.

Educational and Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant work experience.
• Extended hours and ability to move around a large casino environment.
• Lift up to 75 pounds.
• Stand for long periods, climb, bend, reach, and work in variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Use stairs and elevators regularly.

Working Conditions
