Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Cook to support our kitchen operations within our casino dining venues. You will prepare orders according to memorized recipes and ensure timely pickup.

This role requires standing for long shifts, lifting up to 75 pounds, and maintaining high safety and sanitation standards. Experience with cooking and a commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as a cook.
• Ability to stand/walk for entire shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
• Must obtain/maintain required licenses or certifications.
• Must adhere to safety and sanitation procedures.

• Receive and prepare food orders for a specific cuisine according to memorized recipes.
• Coordinate orders for pick-up.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and storage areas.
• Control waste by proper rotation, storage, and quantity control.
• Maintain inventory of station and order stock to maintain pars.
• Apply established safety and sanitation procedures.

• Coordinate orders for pick-up.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation and storage areas at all times.
• Control waste by monitoring proper rotation, storage, and quantity control.
• Maintain inventory of station and order stock to maintain pars.
• Consistently apply established safety and sanitation procedures.

• Must have a minimum of six (6) months of experience as a cook.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
• Other physical requirements of the position include but are not necessarilylimited to reaching, grasping,bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/orcertifications.
