Job summary

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Line Cook to prepare and cook meal items, ensuring quality, portion control, and presentation in a team-oriented kitchen.

You will work alongside cooks and leadership to deliver chef-inspired dishes, with schedule balance and opportunities to advance into lead cook, sous chef, and management roles. Competitive hourly rates reflect experience and state guidelines, with benefits supporting milestone life events.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cook-to-order experience.
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, from hot kitchens to cold refrigerators and freezers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards.
• Execute cook-to-order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Work side-by-side with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and culinary leadership during service.
• Contribute to a dining experience that keeps residents coming back.
