Job summary

Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living in New Providence, New Jersey, is seeking a Line Cook who thrives in a collaborative kitchen and loves crafting chef-inspired dishes for residents. You will participate in our Signature Dining Programs, performing à la minute cooking and ensuring quality, portion control, and presentation.

This full-time evening position requires at least 1 year of cook-to-order experience, weekend and holiday availability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of cook-to-order experience.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all meals following proper safety and cooking techniques.
• Ensure accurate portioning, plating, temperature, and presentation of meals.
• Utilize culinary skills to create high-quality dishes for resident satisfaction.
• Keep the kitchen and workstation clean and sanitized at all times.
