Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Line Cook to accurately prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and special events in a senior living/healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring high quality service while meeting dietary needs. A high school diploma and food handler permit are required; ServSafe is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current Food Handler's Permit required.
• ServSafe training beneficial.
• State sanitation certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks to order foods for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Special/Catered Events.
• Operates grill station and serves customers at a la carte.
• Follows recipes and ensures safety and sanitation standards.
• Reads orders and prepares food according to instructions and production sheets.
• Maintains high quality service and appearance of meals for residents.
