Job summary

Generations is seeking a line cook for CherryWood Village in Portland, OR. You will maintain efficient food preparation in the Culinary Department and ensure follow-through of duties as outlined by the supervisor.

We offer benefits including PTO for full-time staff, medical-dental-vision, a 401(k) employer match, and on-the-job training. The schedule is full-time from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm with holiday and weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient.

Responsibilities

• Line Cook maintains efficient performance in food preparation in the Culinary Department and ensures adequate follow-through of job duties as outlined by the supervisor.
• Complies with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation.
• Incorporates the Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions.
• Prepare and present meals according to standards and schedules.
