Job summary

GRW is seeking back-of-house staff for our Bardstown, KY location. The role focuses on creating and serving modern comfort food in a scratch kitchen, delivering high guest satisfaction through attentive service and quality prep.

You'll prepare soups, salads, and sauces, plate dishes, and cook menu items under the head chef's guidance. The position emphasizes teamwork, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in related food service positions required.
• Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares soups, salads, and sauces as instructed by the head chef.
• Plates and garnishes meal items following the head chef's instructions.
• Cooks menu items following instruction provided by the head chef.
• Attends pre-shift meetings to review service information, VIPs, and specials.
• Ensures cooking stations are stocked with ingredients and equipment.
• Keeps cooking stations and kitchen surfaces cleaned and disinfected before and after each shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
