Job summary

Slow Hand, an upscale American comfort restaurant in West Chester, PA, is seeking a motivated Line Cook. You will work on a busy line, cook orders promptly, and plate as directed by the Chef.

You will complete daily prep, coordinate with teammates, and help breakdown stations at shift end while upholding food safety standards. Weekend availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team environment.
• Must be reliable, organized, efficient, courteous and professional.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Flexible with work schedules.
• Experience in a professional kitchen is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cook orders in a timely manner, and plate as guided by the Chef.
• Complete all tasks on the daily prep list, and help others to do the same.
• Communicate with others working the line.
• Communicate orders, prep, and counts to the Chef.
• Break down stations at end of shift.
• Ensure food safety standards and regulations are upheld at all times.
