Civitas Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare meals, follow established recipes, and ensure top-quality plating while maintaining high food-safety standards.

Collaborate with the Chef and staff to streamline operations, manage inventory, and uphold hygiene. This role values positivity, continuous learning, and a commitment to exceptional service for residents and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned meals following established recipes and standards.
• Maintain temperature charts and food safety records; follow sanitation protocols.
• Notify Chef of inventory needs and assist in kitchen operations.
• Uphold personal grooming and kitchen hygiene per Civitas standards.
• Assist in organizing kitchen, food storage, and dish area; foster collaboration.
• Ensure proper dating and FIFO to keep foods fresh.
• Support Chef Manager in improving kitchen efficiency and staff training.
• Follow all safety policies and regulatory requirements.
