Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items per standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food items.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains records during service.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and service, maintaining high cleanliness standards, and handles excess food safely.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record-keeping, and reporting.
• Assists with ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Follows HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Prioritizes safety for yourself and others.
• Follows all company policies, including safety protocols such as using gloves and proper handling of hot items.
