Job summary

Evergreen Recovery Centers in Everett, WA is seeking a Cook to prepare 3 family-style meals daily for up to 30 adults and 15 infants/children in a residential program. This full-time role sits in a calm, supportive kitchen working with residents and a nutritionist to plan meals.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma/GED, 6+ months of food prep experience, a WA Food Handler’s Permit, and a valid WA driver’s license; four 10-hour shifts with weekend/holiday availability are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of institutional food service experience.
• Some understanding of alcoholism and addiction, treatment and recovery supports.
• Current WA State Food Handler’s Permit and valid WA driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Line Cook to provide 3 family-style meals daily for residents and children.
• Assist in meal planning and ordering with the Food Services Coordinator.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety in a residential program environment.
