Job summary

Central Market is seeking a Production Specialist to handle the freshest quality ingredients, including mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping and stocking. The role requires maintaining sanitation, following daily production lists, and providing customer service as needed.

Experience with commercial production and 1+ years in food preparation are preferred; 2-5 years of related experience is also expected. Flexible to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Commercial production experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year of food preparation experience.
• 2-5 years of related experience in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Include mixing, shaping, baking, wrapping and stocking of products.
• Ensure quality control of all products before sending to sales floor.
• Maintain sanitation in the department and organize storage areas.
• Read and execute daily production lists and manage inventory.
• Provide customer service as needed (phone orders).
• Monitor product quality and shrink, assist in receiving products and supplies.
• Prepping, wrapping, pricing, selling and stocking products continuously.
