Job summary

The Sicilian Butcher Fort Worth is seeking an energetic Line Cook to join our fast-paced, hospitality-driven kitchen. You’ll work alongside a passionate culinary team to craft bold, scratch-made dishes while upholding high standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• 4+ years of Line Cook experience preferred.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Recreate recipes per The Sicilian Butcher standards.
• Knowledgeable about food safety standards and restaurant cleanliness.
• Willing to go the extra mile to create the guest experience.
• Know the menu and products carried.
• Current food handlers card or ability to obtain one.
• Experience, positive attitude, punctuality and teamwork.
• High school diploma; hospitality degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardised recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely utilise a variety of utensils and kitchen equipment, including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.
• Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to safety policies, including proper food safety and sanitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
