Recovery Room Sports Grill Albany in Albany, NY is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The role involves preparing meats, seafood, vegetables and final plating with garnishes, while maintaining quality and portion control.

You will work with managers and dining room staff to ensure consistency and timely service. Applicant should have at least two years of kitchen experience, the ability to stand long hours, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualificações

• Minimum of two years experience in kitchen and preparation and cooking.
• Must communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel.
• Physical requirements include reaching, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Standing for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).

Responsabilidades

• Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables for cooking on broilers, ovens, grills, fryers.
• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
• Knows and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
• Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard sizes and recipe specifications.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area and equipment.
• Prepares items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and marinating.
• Follows plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
• Handles, stores and rotates all products properly.
• Assists in food prep during off-peak periods and closes the kitchen properly.
