Job Description

A Line Cook or Prep Cook at BB's Tex-Orleans is responsible for plating dishes and completing basic food prep tasks. Main duties include preparing and cooking food at a specific station, ensuring timely cooking, and following recipes. Cooks are also expected to keep the kitchen clean and well-stocked. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the preparation station and kitchen are set up and stocked.
• Chop vegetables, cut meat, and prepare sauces.
• Follow the instructions of the kitchen manager.
• Maintain health and safety standards in food preparation and storage areas.
• Stock inventory and supplies.
• Cook menu items with support from the kitchen staff.

Requirements and Skills

• Previous kitchen experience is very important.
