Job summary

Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant in Columbia, TN is hiring line cooks with positive attitudes and a servant's heart to add to our awesome team. The Line Cook is responsible for cooking meats, seafood, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food prior to cooking.

They must also perform other duties in final plate preparation and garnishing. The position requires weekends and offers a competitive pay rate of $17 - $18 per hour, along with a comprehensive

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in similar position preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand up to 8 hours.
• Must pass the federally mandated E-verify process.

Responsibilities

• Cook meats, seafood, vegetables, soups and other hot food products.
• Prepare and portion food and garnish plates for serving.
