Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Line Cook for the Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center in Roanoke, Virginia. You will join our culinary team, prep and present dishes, and contribute to high-volume service.

This role requires previous kitchen experience, ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, strong attention to detail, multitasking, and a team-oriented approach. Compensation starts at $16.00 and goes to $20.00 per hour, with standard duties and safety standards.

Schedule

• Mid Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Dinner Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (or later)
• Closing Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (or later)

What You'll Do

Prepare and Present Quality Dishes Execute menu items with consistency, precision, and attention to detail, ensuring every plate meets our culinary and presentation standards.

Work as Part of a Team Collaborate with fellow cooks, chefs, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely preparation of meals during busy shifts.

Maintain Food Quality and Consistency Follow recipes, portion controls, and preparation standards while using fresh ingredients to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Support a Safe and Organized Kitchen Maintain a clean workstation, properly store and rotate products, and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment Adapt quickly to changing priorities, manage multiple orders efficiently, and maintain a positive attitude during high-volume service periods.
