Job summary

The View, New York City’s landmark revolving restaurant, is seeking a Line Cook to join Union Square Hospitality Group’s culinary team. You will contribute to a fast-paced service, work across stations, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen while delivering high-quality dishes with consistency.

With 1+ years of line cook experience in full-service settings, you’ll embrace our culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a Line Cook position at a full-service restaurant, or similar experience.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Display a working knowledge of all ingredients and preparation used on the menu
• Ensure that station mise en place is prepped, seasoned, and stocked throughout service
• Participate in a professionally run service period, ensuring excellence in cooking, timing, plate assembly, and communication
• Maintain calm mental athleticism while managing picks and taking direction from expediters and culinary leaders
• Promote teamwork and excellence amongst the kitchen team

The View, New York City’s only revolving restaurant, bar, and lounge has been led by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group since 2025, following a complete renovation by the Rockwell Group. The space evokes the vibrant nightlife of historic New York, drawing inspiration from classic American supper clubs.
