Eataly North America in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Pizza Maker to produce roman-style pizza alla pala according to authentic recipes. You will work onsite with a warm team, prep pizzas, and maintain clean production areas while supporting sales staff and guests curious about pizza production.

This seasonal position runs about three months through early January 2027 with a path to longer-term opportunities.

• 1+ year of experience in a back of house production position
• Good work ethic, communication and time management skills

A Pizza Maker is responsible for producing roman-style pizza alla pala in accordance with our authentic Italian recipes. Reports to the Bakery Manager.

• Prepares pizzas according to specific recipes
• Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures
• Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area according to Department of Health standards
• Works towards mastering all shifts in pizza production
• Assists Sales Associates if needed and engages with guests interested in learning about pizza production
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• 1+ year of experience in a back of house production position
• Good work ethic, communication and time management skills

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible, open schedule often including evenings and weekends preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to work with a wood burning oven, electric pizza convection oven and commercial spiral mixer

Compensation: Pay rate for this role is $19 - $21
