Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, following established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares high-quality food items per standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food.
3. Uses ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked.
4. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen after preparation and service, following safe food-handling procedures.
5. Stores or discards excess food properly, keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
8. Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
10. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
11. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
12. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean, safe environment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
14. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
15. Commits to personal and team safety.
16. Follows all company policies, including use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
