Line Cook - Part-Time - Hub City Spartanburgers

Position Summary

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing foods to be served to guests throughout the venue. Responsibilities include working in areas such as buffet lines, slicing meats, or preparing dishes to order. The role requires excellent attendance and flexibility to work scheduled events as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, fresh food products promptly for guest service.
  • Prepare hot and cold foods following recipes and portioning standards.
  • Work as part of a team, ensuring excellent service and product delivery.
  • Report maintenance needs for kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
  • Test and monitor food for proper cooking.
  • Portion, garnish, and arrange food for presentation.
  • Coordinate with culinary leadership to plan menus and estimate food needs.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a cook or prep cook.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, steamers, convection ovens, mixers, meat slicers, and knives.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Valid food handling certification as required by regulations; ServSafe certification preferred.
