Bayview in Seattle is seeking a LineCook to produce nutritious, high quality meals for residents, guests and staff. Following menus, recipes, and safety guidelines, you will help ensure meals are served with appealing presentation, correct temperatures, and on time.

The role requires at least one year in food service in a health care setting, knowledge of therapeutic diets and HACCP, and ability to read/write English.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a health care food service setting and cooking.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets.
• Knowledge of sanitary practices and HACCP guidelines.
• Ability to read and write English with accuracy.
• Holds current Washington State Food Handler’s permit.
• Experience aligned with the duties listed below.

Responsibilities

• Produce nutritious, high-quality food per menus, recipes, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure meals are served with appealing appearance, temperature, aroma, and taste.
• Prepare meals in a timely manner and in adequate quantities.
