Din Tai Fung North America is opening a new Scottsdale location and seeks energetic Line Cooks (Noodle) to join the kitchen team. You will learn noodle recipes, cooking times, plating guidelines, and ensure quality from prep to plate in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes standing for long periods, learning quickly, and being part of a high-volume operation that serves millions of guests annually. Growth opportunities are highlighted in an inclusive team setting.

Responsabilités

• Learns all Noodle recipes, cook times, and techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
• Checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
• Cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes
• Plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
• Prepares and cuts garnishes for Noodle line items
• Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and procedures
• Attends monthly staff meetings and Noodle meetings

COMPENSATION:

$21.25 - $23.80 per hour, based on years of relevant experience.

About The Role

Line Cooks (Noodle) are responsible for preparing, cooking and plating all of the noodle line items.

Job Responsibilities & Tasks

• Learns all Noodle recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
• Checks the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
• Cooks the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes
• Plates the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
• Prepares and cuts garnishes for Noodle line items
• Labels all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
• Attends monthly staff meetings and Noodle meetings

Supporting Functions

• Keeps all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
• Organizes items within the walk-in coolers and freezers
• Lifts/moves boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
• Assists with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
• Maintains confidentiality regarding all propriety information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP’s”).
