Job description

As a Noodle Line Cook, you help bring some of Din Tai Fung’s most beloved dishes to life. In this role, you’ll prepare our signature noodle dishes following Din Tai Fung’s recipes, cook times, techniques, and plating standards to ensure every plate meets the quality and consistency our guests expect.

You’ll start by checking ingredient quality, preparing and cutting garnishes, and setting up your station for service. Throughout the shift, you’ll focus on precision and teamwork while maintaining a clean, organized station. Responsibilities also include properly labeling items in compliance with health department regulations and company procedures, and participating in monthly staff and noodle department meetings as part of your continued growth and development.

$25.25 per hour

Job Responsibilities & Tasks

• Learn all noodle recipes, cook times, and cooking techniques per Din Tai Fung’s procedures
• Check the ingredient quality prior to beginning cooking
• Cook the ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes
• Plate the final product in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s plating guidelines
• Prepare and cut garnishes for noodle line items
• Label all items in accordance with Health Department regulations and Din Tai Fung procedures
• Attend monthly staff meetings and noodle meetings

Supporting Functions

• Keep all kitchen areas clean and sanitized
• Organize items within the walk‑in coolers and freezers
• Lift/move boxes, bags, chairs, and tables (up to 50 pounds)
• Assist with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, including but not limited to recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
