Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering high-quality dishes in accordance with our restaurant’s standards. You’ll be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in your station.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Ensure food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner.
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Assist with prep work and inventory as needed.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
Handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred.
Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety practices.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Regularly lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and ability to work standing for extended periods.
Culinary school training is a plus but not required.
