Job summary

The Chatham Inn, a Relais & Châteaux and Forbes Five-Star hotel, seeks a Line Cook to join our Cuvee Bistro kitchen on Cape Cod. You will prep, cook, and plate dishes for our fine dining and casual dining venues, aiming for the highest quality and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Be flexible with schedule, including holidays.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and grooming standards.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Open up, prepare, and organize the station; cook food to start service.
• Prepare sauces, soups, entrees and arrange the line for service.
• Ensure orders are cooked quickly and to peak quality; maintain cleanliness.
• Learn menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation.
• Store food properly; manage temperatures and holding conditions.
• Prepare food for next shifts and following day as directed.
• Maintain equipment, counters, and refrigeration in a sanitary state.
