Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group seeks a Line Cook to join the Applebee's family and support the kitchen team. You will be responsible for assigned prep work and cook's station, uphold high standards for product quality and presentation, and learn all kitchen department roles through cross-training.

You will prepare items per recipes and specifications, complete prep and clean duties, and work in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment that values community involvement and growth.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Capable of using knives, slicing equipment and other food preparation equipment.
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to Applebee's recipes, plate presentations and specifications.
• Complete all assigned prep work.
• Set up workstation according to station diagram.
• Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
• Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
