Job summary

Bars & Recreation in Milwaukee is seeking Kitchen Crew Members/Line Cooks to join The New Fashioned. You will prepare dishes, keep stations clean, and ensure food is prepped to the director of culinary’s guidelines across on-site venues and catering.

We require 18+ years old, prior kitchen experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work days, evenings, and weekends. Compensation is $17 per hour with benefits and cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience as a line cook is a plus.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and cooking according to recipes and guidelines.
• Set up and maintain kitchen stations and prep lists.
• Cook on The New Fashioned line and assist with catering for events.
• Prepare catering trays for large events with precision.
• Ensure proper labeling, dating, and storage of food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workspaces and equipment.
