Position Details

Salary Range: $21.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Description

Kendalls Tavern & Chophouse in Coon Rapids is hiring immediately for a Line Cook.

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing food according to established recipes and safety standards, working collaboratively with kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications.
  2. Plate prepared foods based on chef's guidance.
  3. Set up, operate, break down, and clean all kitchen equipment.
  4. Assist with dishwashing, cleaning floors, sanitizing utensils, and maintaining cleanliness.
  5. Uphold high sanitation and food safety standards.
Qualifications
  1. Food safety certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  2. Ability to learn menus and recipes.
  3. Comfortable standing for extended periods, able to lift up to 30 lbs, and capable of bending, reaching, and twisting.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Flexibility to work various shifts preferred.
  6. Must be at least 18 years old.
