Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Execute seasonal menu items with impeccable presentation, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Follow directions from the Chef and respond promptly to changes in menu items, preparation needs, and service priorities.

Kitchen Operations & Service Support

  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, and occasionally stressful kitchen environment.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient workstation throughout each shift.
  • Collaborate with the Chef, General Manager, and front-of-house team to support smooth restaurant operations and timely service.
  • Follow directions from the General Manager and assist with service needs as required.

Food Safety, Sanitation & Compliance

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures to maintain a safe and compliant kitchen.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
  • Properly store, label, and handle ingredients in accordance with food safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of culinary or restaurant experience, preferably in a full-service or high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Strong knife skills and proficiency with standard kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Experience cooking in a full-service kitchen.
  • Maintains a positive, professional attitude and takes pride in the quality of their work.
  • Keeps a clean and polished appearance.
  • New York City Food Handler's Certificate is a plus.
  • Maintains a clean, polished, and professional appearance in accordance with restaurant standards.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and stand for extended periods (at least 8 hours).
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

Skills

  • Professional knife skills and proper knife handling; Kitchen Safety.
  • Knowledge of kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Food sanitation and hygiene.

Schedule:Full-Time | Work Location: On-Site | Schedule: Evenings, including late nights and weekends.

Base salary:$20.00-$25.00/hour
