Job summary

Mangiare Italian Restaurant in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Line Cook for dinner service. You will run a designated station (pasta/sauté, grill/fry, or antipasti/pantry), with training to own it from setup to close.

The role offers both full-time and part-time schedules, a clear pay scale from $19.00–$26.00 per hour based on the station, and opportunities for advancement within a small, hands-on kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook in a full-service, scratch kitchen.
• Italian or Mediterranean experience is a plus.
• Comfort cooking pasta to order and proteins to temperature.
• Consistency on the line and timely execution.
• Clear communication during service and with leadership.
• Punctual and presentable, ready to work nights/weekends/holidays.
• ServSafe or Food Handler's certification, or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up your assigned station before service.
• Cook to recipe and temperature for consistent quality.
• Maintain standard portion sizes and rotate stock.
• Check quality and freshness of ingredients.
• Regulate temperatures on ovens, grills, and holding equipment.
• Report waste with weights to the line lead the same day.
• Communicate clearly during service and cover assigned duties.
• Close station, clean surfaces, and label stored items.
• Learn a second station and cross-train when needed.
