Job summary

First Hospitality is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join Brim House at the Renaissance Toledo. You will work under the guidance of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to prepare high-quality dishes, execute recipes, and ensure timely service for guests in a hotel dining setting. Applicants should have 1+ year of culinary experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of culinary experience.
• High School diploma or equivalency education certificate required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistently high quality by following recipes and standards.
• Follow all food safety standards by date marking, proper product rotation, and proper temperature and time holding.
• Initiate preparation of food items based on anticipated needs.
• Properly store all food products during and after use.
• Assist in food control standards to reduce waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, steamers, mixers, slicers, ovens, etc.
• Clean and maintain all equipment and the general working environment.
• Contribute as a team member by reporting as scheduled and supporting others.
