Job summary

Caesars New Orleans Casino & Hotel is seeking a Line Cook III to prepare menu items to recipe standards and assist the Chef on duty in setting up the line. The role requires maintaining stations and keeping kitchen areas clean and sanitary, while collaborating with teammates during busy periods.

The candidate should be able to work across production, butchering, grill/broiler/sauté, fry and garde manger/pantry stations, with a focus on quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Experience with multiple kitchen stations is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes and standards precisely.

Responsibilities

• Preps, cooks and seasons all food items.
• Follows all recipe standards ensuring each order is consistent with recipe specifications.
• Prepare items such as soups, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, entrees, breakfast items and desserts.
• Controls food production to include: proper cooking methods, time and temperature, sanitation, and storage of leftovers.
• Must adapt to fast-paced and changing work environment while maintaining focus.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and work area.
