Lake of the Pines Homeowners Association is accepting applications for the position of Cook II - Line Cook. Located in Northern California between Auburn and Grass Valley, Lake of the Pines is a gated community with amenities including a private lake and golf course. The salary range is $18.23 - $20.84 per hour. Part-time employees enjoy facility privileges such as discounted golf, swimming, beaches, parks, tennis, and meals. Sick leave is provided after the applicable waiting period. A pre-employment background check is required following a conditional offer.

Required Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare meals in two kitchens to specification, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Maintain health and cleanliness standards of kitchen facilities under the instruction of Sous Chefs.
  • Set-up, breakdown, and clean the cook line in both kitchens.
  • Ensure high sanitation standards for all equipment, food storage, and handling areas.
  • Demonstrate common culinary skills and experience with kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Communicate with service staff regarding food and service instructions.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Be available to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work effectively with others and get along with team members.
  • Frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • One year of related experience or training.
  • Open availability including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
