Description

Lake of the Pines Homeowners Association is accepting applications for the position of Cook II - Line Cook. Lake of the Pines is a 2,000-home gated private community located in the foothills of Northern California, between Auburn and Grass Valley. The community features amenities such as a 230-acre private lake and a 19-hole golf course. The salary range for this position is $18.23 - $20.84. Part-time employees enjoy facility use privileges, including discounted golf, swimming pool access, beaches, parks, tennis, and discounted meals. Sick leave is offered following the applicable waiting period. A pre-employment background check is required after a conditional offer of employment.

Required Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare meals in two kitchens according to specifications, maintaining high quality standards.
  2. Follow instructions from Sous Chefs to maintain health and cleanliness standards of kitchen facilities.
  3. Set up, break down, and clean the cook line in both kitchens.
  4. Maintain high sanitation standards for all equipment, food storage, and food handling areas.
  5. Demonstrate common culinary skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools.
  6. Communicate with service staff regarding food and service instructions as needed.
  7. Perform duties with regular and predictable attendance.
  8. Be available to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
  9. Work effectively with others, demonstrating teamwork skills.
  10. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
