Job summary

Fisher Island Club is seeking a Cook 1 to join our Culinary team on-site in Florida. The role requires planning, prep, and service across all kitchen stations with speed and accuracy, following recipes and plating guides to exact specifications.

You will maintain a clean, organized station, communicate daily with the Outlet Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef, and uphold high kitchen sanitation standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training certificate.
• 3 years experience in the culinary field.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
• Must pass with satisfactory results, a cooking demo for the chef.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prep, set up, and provide quality service in all areas of food production.
• Follow established recipes and plating guides exactly as specified.
• Maintain and organize station and equipment in a neat, orderly fashion.
• Communicate daily with the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine about status and guest dietary needs.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and uphold sanitary standards across shifts.
