Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team. You will set up and organize the kitchen, prepare and plate menu items, and ensure quality and timely service in a high-volume, upscale hotel.

The role requires 3+ years cooking in similar settings or formal culinary training with hands-on experience; strong knowledge of sanitation standards; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3+ years cooking in upscale/high-volume hotel or restaurant, or equivalent culinary training with 2+ years hands-on experience.
• Solid knowledge of food sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment and safe usage.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items following standardized recipes.
• Adhere to portion control and minimize waste.
