Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a line cook to join The Alfond Inn’s culinary team. Prepare and cook menu items following recipes and safety standards, ensuring consistent quality and portion control. Collaborate with the kitchen to develop specials while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

You will monitor temperatures, assist with inventory, and support colleagues to meet service demands during peak hours. Health and wellness benefits are offered as part of our team culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Serve-Safe Certification and Allergy Awareness Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items per recipes, portions, and safety standards.
• Use grilling, frying, roasting, baking, and sautéing methods.
• Monitor temperatures, times, and ingredients to minimize waste and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with culinary team to refine menu items and specials.
• Maintain clean, sanitized kitchen and storage areas per health guidelines.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, and stock checks.
