Qualifications

• 1 year of previous experience in a related or supportive role is preferred.
• Time management and organizational ability required for high quality food production.
• Must have experience and proficiency with garde manger, saute, fry, and grill stations.
• Ability to work across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow departmental policies and restaurant rules as set forth in the handbook.
• Report maintenance or repairs needed to the Executive Chef.
• Maintain proper sanitation to prevent spoilage and contamination.
• Adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
• Keep work stations clean and sanitary, including equipment and surfaces.
• Provide excellent quality and presentation of all food to guests.
• Prepare and present each menu item according to specifications.
• Ensure timely food production and staff is educated about the menu.
• Assist in daily cleaning of pantry, line, prep areas and dish areas.
